Returns & Exchanges
Yes! We offer exchanges and returns within 30 days of delivery for all products in stock.
You can either exchange your jacket for a different size/color or return it and receive a refund/store credit! The store credit can be used toward anything on our website and won’t expire, so you can use it whenever and however you’d like!
Please keep in mind that items must be unworn (save try-on), unwashed, and have the original tag and packaging in place in order to exchange or return them.
Pre-order items: Items purchased while on pre-order status are nonrefundable. Don’t worry, though! You can still exchange them for a different size or return for store credit!
The items must be sent back to us within 30 days of delivery and must be unworn, unwashed, and have the original tag and packaging in place.
To make an exchange or return, simply visit the Returns & Exchanges page and access the portal.
Please note that the customer is responsible for return (not exchange) shipping and shall bear the costs thereof unless the reason for the return is a defect covered by warranty.
For the exchange of a different product, the shipping is free of charge.
Please allow us up to 14 business days from the moment we receive your returned product to process your return and issue a refund.
We do our best to process all returns and exchanges in a timely manner. After the package arrives back at our warehouse, the process can take up to 14 business days (for exchanges, it can take as little as 7 days).
We'll be sure to update you throughout the process. Please note: during busy seasons such as the holidays, it can take a little longer.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders automatically begin processing upon order confirmation.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday and are shipped within 1-2 business days. Orders placed before 3 PM EST with next-day or two-day air delivery will be processed for same-day shipment.
All U.S. & CA orders are shipped from our warehouse in the United States (Salt Lake City, UT).
Items on International orders depend on availability at the U.S warehouse, and can also be shipped from Asia (Hong Kong or Bangladesh) directly.

You will receive a tracking link via email once your order is shipped from our warehouse.
Please keep an eye out for your package since if no one is around to sign for it or if it's left unclaimed for long, we have no way to control what happens and will no longer be responsible for it.
If you haven't been receiving any status updates, feel free to contact us at email@example.com so that we can look into your order.
If a courier attempts delivery and no one signed for the package or if it is left unclaimed for a period of time at your post office, your package may automatically be sent back to us.
If it makes it back to our warehouse, it is the customers responsibility to pay the shipping fee for the package to be resent. If the package doesn't arrive back, or does but in bad condition, we will not be able to send a replacement jacket or offer a refund.
The duties & taxes are not included in the shipping rate, so we ask customers outside of the United States to keep in mind that they are responsible for claiming the package at customs.
The fees vary from country to country and typically, your local postal service will notify you when your package has arrived and direct you to where you can pay the fees.
It is important to note that if a customer fails to pay the fees or doesn't claim the package at customs, it will be returned to sender and we will have to charge the customer for the shipping fees in the event the customer would like the package shipped again.
Also, if the package it returned to sender by the local postal service, we have no way to track it or guarantee the quality in which it will arrive back at our warehouse, if it will arrive back at all. For that reason, we cannot guarantee a refund will be possible if a package isn't claimed at customs.
Orders within the United States will not be charged duties & taxes.
Delivery time varies from place to place but generally:
Within the US: 2-5 business days
Outside the US: up to 6-18 business days (express option available)
Once your order is shipped, you will receive your tracking information via email so that you can track your package until it arrives!

As we approach the 2021 Holiday Season in this COVID-19 era, please be aware that carriers are implementing service modifications and safety procedures that may affect your shipments. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update our customers regarding any relevant shipping delays.
We prioritize shipping your order as quickly and efficiently is possible, which is why orders are automatically sent to our warehouse after they are placed.
Once an order is processed at our warehouse, we are unable to cancel it or make any changes to it.
If you need to change the size, you will be able to exchange your jacket for a different size once you receive it. To make an exchange simply follow the instructions at the portal found at this page.
If you need to change your address, once you receive your tracking link we recommend contacting DHL or your local postal service to arrange for them to change the delivery address.
If you need to cancel your order, although we aren't able to cancel it, you will be able to return your jacket for a refund. To make an exchange simply follow the instructions at the portal found at this page.
Pre-order items: Unfortunately, these items are nonrefundable and therefore these orders cannot be canceled. The reason for that is the funds collected have gone directly into the production of the items.
Don't worry, though! These items are still eligible for exchanges and store credit! For more information, please feel free to check out our returns policy.

Items in pre-order status cannot be cancelled at the moment. The reason for that is the funds received go right toward the production of set pre-order items and therefore we cannot refund them. If you wish, you will be able to exchange it later for a different size or color.
We recommend sizing up if you're in between sizes.
If you're thinking about adding many layers or particularly thick ones, we recommend sizing up.
While many companies in the U.S place their zippers on different sides (depending if the jacket has a men’s or a women’s fit), there are many countries in which there is no difference in the zipper placement between garments.
At APRICOAT, we made the decision to place the zipper on the left side on both men’s and women’s jackets in order to adjust our collection to have an international fit (just like we considered different sizing systems while creating our own).

The Adventure 2.0 offers the same great features as the V1, but with significant improvements in the quality of materials, breathability, water resistance, and overall fit.
We put a lot of effort into testing different materials to see which ones hold up best under all weather conditions.
For the Adventure 2.0, we've switched to a higher grade light-weight material that allows for an extremely weightless and flexible wearing experience, all while providing significantly better insulation and water resistance.
Another area we focused on was the fit - we've updated the measurements of the Adventure 2.0 to better fit different body types, and better match up with the industry standard. While both options are great, we'd definitely recommend the Adventure 2.0!
We apologize for the confusion! In our production and logistics system the V1 is actually called "version 0" and the Adventure 2.0 is called "version 1", which is why it says V1 on the Apricoat 2.0 label.
To be sure it's the Adventure 2.0, you can also check to see if there's a logo on the front of the hood and a channel for earphones (both existed in the V1 and were removed in the Adventure 2.0).

Yes, the Adventure 2.0 is fully seam-sealed and water-proof (10,000 - 15,000 mm level)
The recommended temperatures are 77f to 41f (25c to 5c). Keep in mind though that every person's tolerance to the cold is different, so the exact temperatures vary from person to person. It also, of course, depends what you wear under the coat. With our thermal wear, it can be comfortable at even -20c.
Yes! You can take it off or keep it on, whatever's most comfortable for you!
The jacket's exterior is made of a super breathable polyester-based fabric. A special membrane covers the fabric and gives it its breathability capability.
All the material used to make one unit of this jacket is the equivalent of approximately 300 recycled plastic bottles.

We use a sustainable model of collective production which helps the planet. Products are made to order (MTO), meaning all materials are purchased only for a small run based on the demand we see. Once they go out of stock, we open pre-orders and produce new batches. Less waste on shelves and less carbon footprint left on the planet! 🌍

No. The EcoDown Jacket is water repellent. The outer shell of the jacket underwent a special process that enables it to repel water and liquids. Also, the outer zippers are waterproof!
The recommended temperature range is 59f to 5f (15c to -15c), although exact temperatures will vary from person to person as everyone's tolerance to the cold is different. It also, of course depends what you wear underneath the coat. With our thermal wear, it can be comfortable at even -20c.
No, the Down Jacket is made of synthetic down! ♻️
Synthetic down is made out of recycled plastic bottles, which is why we chose this environmentally friendly method over natural down. An added bonus is that synthetic down actually dries quicker than natural down!
The EcoDown Jacket exterior is made of a super breathable polyester-based ripstop fabric.

You can wash your Eco Down Jacket at 30 degrees, although you shouldn't dry clean it or put it in the dryer.
